we went out on saturday night with pat's family - just the adults! to celebrate his dad turning 60 years old.

i LOVE every {well, most every, let's be honest} minute with this man.

i used to think that 60 was VERY old.
now it doesn't seem quite so old??

3 of our 4 parents turn 60 this year. and they are all amazing and in great health...maybe that's why :-)

we loved the time with them. and we loved celebrating his dad!!!

my parents watched the kids (minus rebekah who was at a birthday party) and put our 2 african sons to bed for the first time by someone besides us. that was big. and went well. yay!!!

we then went over to pat's parents house on sunday evening to have cake and ice cream. and so that the kids could wish him a happy birthday! lots of celebrating!!!
