annual beach trip - in the pool

from about 1-3 pm, the 4 of us moms sat by the pool and read and talked every afternoon.
at 3 pm, the 4 older kids were able to come out.
at 3:30, a few more of the kids woke up.
by about 4 pm...the pool looked like this...
