happy summer afternoon

on the way home from a TIRING grocery run...
how fun is this color?? {and, i MADE time to paint them! i had to not eat lunch and paint them while they ate...sacrifices...}
movie during rest time
decided to peek at sawyer resting...and this was the smile i got :-) he was almost asleep, i think.
a friend brought this. just makes you smile!
ok. since i was taking pictures of my toes, i have to ask about this. see that bump on my foot?
it's been there for MONTHS. even before i broke my toe. it doesn't hurt AT ALL. but, pat noticed it the other night and said i should get it checked out. right. i'm not willingly going to the dr for anything unless it's causing me MAJOR pain {i mean, my stomach has been having issues for weeks and i just ignore it.} so...what do you think? any diagnosis out there?? it doesn't move around. it's like bone. but popping out of the top of my foot.
ok. on that note. we are off to the dentist. it feels like it's 115* outside. yuck.

oh, here's a short video from yesterday morning. when i was doing that fun new workout. the 3 little boys were all happy and with me and so cute...

It looks like a ganglion cyst. I have one on my wrist and they are not dangerous. My mother gets them too.

Looks like a gaglion cyst on your foot. Completely benign, but can be uncomfortable. Ummm.......common Dr.'s method of removal is whacking it with a phone book or other hard surfaced book like object to rupture it.

I totally LOVED the photo of Levi with the animal cracker hanging out of his mouth because he fell asleep before he could eat it...that is precious. This week Danielle is skipping morning nap so the boys can do swim lessons. I can literally take her out of the car, change her diaper, and put her to bed without her waking up! I love babies who like their sleep!

Hi. I read your blog often,a dn am super happy for your family. We had wanted to adopt form rowanda as well, but did not get our paper work done in time. Anyway, my husband is a foot doctor. He said it looks like you have a ganglion cyst. If it doesn't bother you, just keep an eye on it and when it hurts go in and have in removed or drained.

Yep, I was going to say ganglion cyst too...I had one on my hand and popped it once by accident (whacked it on a table or something) and it went away. I never had to do the phone book method but was about it. It didn't really hurt when it popped, just felt weird. It never came back though, so that was positive! :)

I so love all the photos of you and kids doing everyday things, so fun, esp Levi asleep in his car seat. The story of the bee was hysterical, I can SO picture the circus that ensued and the urge to just laugh hysterically. Definitely have those moments often. Esp when you feel you could easily cry instead, but for lots of other reasons. :)

Love you!

Your toes are cracking me up!
I had my FINGERS painted that same exact color last week!
I picked up a raisin off the girls plates that day and realized that next to the raisin, my finger looked like an M&M and together they looked like trail mix ;-)

and ew....your foot....
'ganglion' ew....

Did your bump ever go away?? Did you wear flip flops a lot? I have one too just like it. Mine started to hurt a lot with shoe pressure and some nerve zinging down my big toe and second toe. Found out that I have small bone spur. The tendons, etc.? make the bump more prominent when they're aggravated.

I have the same thing on my foot and same place, mine however is as hard as a bone so i cant see how you can pop it.
