we went for a long bike ride this morning...ali and ryan stayed home so he could take a nap...but everyone else went! it was so fun!
we stopped a couple times...once to let the kids climb a big hill...(can you see them??)
and once to walk to the end of the pier...
then we spent the rest of the day on the BEACH!
it was slightly chilly...but no one seemed to mind!
the older kids even got IN the freezing water!

i got some SUN on my face!!! yay! {not really anywhere else because i was so chilly}
BUT...pat got some on his legs :-) OUCH!
both families have been doing the resurrection eggs so we are just continuing each night together! so fun!
we are having so much fun!
the weather is supposed to warm up a little each day, so i'm hoping to get some sun on more than just my face tomorrow :-)

these pictures make me think of our trip there for thanksgiving! hope you have a BLAST!
y'all aren't at emerald isle, are you? that's where I grew up going to the beach, and it looks an awful lot like where you are.
