this is all i managed to pull off for st patricks day.
a bucket with 4 little bags of gold {chocolate} coins and some markers and crayons that we NEED and a pack of plates for our toaster waffles for breakfast :-)
the kids were all talking about the leprechauns that were here and sawyer has been so concerned about it all day....keeps asking about "the people"?? so cute!
thanks to the generosity of my mom and dad, pat and joshua are at the NCAA tournament games this afternoon with my brother and brittany! joshua went to work with pat for a couple hours...then to the games! missed school! he was just a *little* bit excited :-)
NO jackets at the playground this morning!!! whoo-hoo!!!
i think spring might actually come!
it's supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow!!!
but my heart???
it's struggling to believe *spring* will really come.
there is LOTS of exciting stuff going on around us...keeping our hands and heart busy...but NOTHING makes up for the silence from rwanda...for the wait that keeps going and going...
He is faithful.
He is near.
but it is hard.
and i don't understand.
i haven't cried out of frustration for weeks...but i can feel it building.
i am SO sick of laundry. it just never ENDS!
anyone else?? can i get an amen??
i have a little over 4 weeks to be presentable in a bathing suit!
yikes!
just finished a book by Charles Martin - When Crickets Cry. i read it SO fast.
it was SO good {maybe THAT'S why i'm extra tired this week! stayed up LATE reading almost every night!}
thanks to one of YOU for recommending him!
can't wait to get my hands on another one of his!
end of random post.

amen. Amen. aMEN. AMEN.
seriously.
it's going to be the death of me.
thinking of you so much during this difficult wait. wish i had words to help. but i have none. just know you are in the thoughts and prayers of many.
(oh...and i'm SO jealous of pat and joshua!! LOVE march madness. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!)
So glad you liked "Crickets." His writing is wonderful but I need a break from the brokenness in his novels sometimes. All of his books are really good - I got most of them from the library.

Amen on the laundry! And can we add dirty bathrooms too?!
amen to the laundry (and the bathing suit part too - AAAAH!!) !!
we have been gone for part of spring break. i was hoping that you would have posted about some news from rwanda when we returned!
:(
and i am so ready for spring too on so many different levels!!
Amen!!!
big time treat for joshua to get to go to the games - how fun for him!! totally with you on the laundry. sigh. NO it never ends....that's how i broke my toe after all! carrying down the mountain of laundry to fold. and as for silence from rwanda. sigh. God's still never been late though!!! keep hanging on!
AMEN!! Laundry never ends! Especially when the house is sick. Whatever bug is going around came to visit our house this week. First our middle son, then daughter and youngest son and now the hubs has it. I'm hoping I'll get lucky and not get it.
So ready for spring. I loved the 70's today! Reminds me of the promises He keeps :)
I did nothing for the girls for St. Patty's day so pat yourself on the back for all you did!
Amen to the laundry. I have a load going right now after doing 'all' of it yesterday. Ugh!
The wait is hard. Count the blessings in the wait.
Thanks for reminding me about bathing suit season. I need to get on that right away. Agghhh!
I'll have to get the book. I need a escape book. All is good, just like to stop thinking every once and a while.
End of random comment!
