my heart has been ripped to shreds

i know that sounds dramatic.
and, it might be, just a little.

but, watch this.
a family (actually 2 families...but this is one family's video - and the video is AMAZING!) is in rwanda right now.
they met their son for the first time yesterday.
we will meet our sons from this SAME orphanage...one day...a nun will walk out those SAME doors with our boys...one day...

SO so happy for this family!
rejoicing!!!
and just excited that there is MOVEMENT happening in adoptions in rwanda!

yet, as i've been on the verge of tears and barely holding it together all week...
well, this put me over the edge.
ugly crying.

one day...one day...

it's got to be so hard for your heart to swing between such strong emotions!!! celebrate the victory for the family and patiently wait, knowing that it will be a sweet and perfect time in GOD's perfect time when it's your turn! love you my friend.

Ahhhh Courtney, the tears have not stopped yet....as I sit here enjoying the "meeting" of this precious family with their son. Yes, one perfect day....you and Pat will each be holding a son...two precious boys. Do not give up HOPE ~ God is orchestrating your day. We rejoice with these families! Thank you God for children being cared for...by these nuns....and these families. I love you Courtney. Sending YOU a big hug...as we shed tears together.
