hope grows...spring is coming!

saw this picture in a magazine and loved it...
so...bailey, sawyer and i did it together!
i debated...doing it with the whole crew in the afternoon...or my little crew in the morning.
i'm glad i did the little crew :-)
it was calmer that way.
AND it was fun to focus on THEM.

some of our seeds...

there was a *little* mess...but we did it in the porch, so it was ok :-)

i LOVE looking at them in my windowsill!
growth...such a GOOD thing, right??
{eventually, when they DO grow, you can just put the whole thing, eggshell and ALL right in the ground in your yard! cool, huh??}

Using egg cartons and egg shells...what a smart and cost effective idea! I'm going to have to remember that when I do my garden next year.

so cute!
we're going to do that too!
I also saw a cool baseball card holder idea that we're going to try - suctions right to your window so you don't have to have room to set it anywhere!
