snow day #??

i have no idea...but i think it's the last snow day of the school year!
there wasn't enough snow to sled in...so that was sad.

i found the kids like this mid-morning.
i asked them what they were doing.
they said they were driving.
to florida.
there were bad guys involved.
and maybe a fire??
i can't exactly remember.
it was very random. and creative. and just funny that they were all sitting on one step like that.
with snack and drinks and 2 extra babies at their feet.
once they were done with that and started arguing, i pulled out something i've had in my possession for almost 2 months!
i got it with a gift card they got for christmas.
and i've been saving it for the "perfect" moment...this was it!

it was bigger than i thought.
but, that's ok!
i have a lot of kids...

sawyer got banned from coloring on the outside.
he got to color the inside :-)
then, my friend, megan came for the day!
we had planned it last week.
she had a dr appt...so, in addition to getting to spend time with HER before her appt and after
{which ended up being a little harder...since all my kids were home and trying to interrupt us the whole time!}
i also got to feed 7 kids lunch!
that was fun!
rebekah - the oldest of the bunch! and danielle - the youngest!
rebekah was a huge help.
i SO loved every minute i got with her.
we have spent countless hours together over the years.
she's watched me become a mom {and be TOTALLY surprised that i was going to be a mom!}
she's watched me become a mom of lots of kids.
she's just watched me live my life...day in and day out.
we've walked miles and miles.
talked hours and hours.
i love her.
thanks for coming, friend!
when's your next appointment?? :-)

I knew that silly picture was going to come back to haunt me...LOL! It was so GREAT to see you. I love you! And miss you! And thanks again for taking on the extra mouths to feed. I just wanted to make sure you are in practice for the six (with one extra). ;-)
