i found a use for {some} of that pasta! :-)

when rebekah and joshua were these ages....my mom brought a tub of macaroni over one day.
we played with that tub for YEARS!
i think it must have been thrown out when we moved to this house??

anyways...i thought of it this morning and they had so much fun playing with it and the dishes from their play kitchen! (or ANY little dishes from your own kitchen would work well, too!) the utensils (spoons, forks) are always the favorite...
i started them on a table in the basement while i did yoga.
but, the table was like, 3 feet away from me and that was WAY too far...so they brought it all over and set up RIGHT next to me! :-)

but they left me alone! they just needed to be close...love that!

try hiding things in it - penny, a paperclip, a rubberband etc. and then give them tweezers or tongs to dig it out! i did it when i was teaching and my girls LOVE it!

Love it. We've done it with rice and with dried beans, but I like the pasta maybe not as hard to pick up.

Whoa, this is a great idea! Chloe would absolutely love this activity.

p.s. Please tell R. how much I adored the picture she drew of our family. I especially loved how Chloe and I were the same size :)
