i let bailey take the picture for me this morning.

that would be why it's a {little} crooked.

and why i might seem to be cringing...PRAYING she doesn't drop my precious camera on the hard wood floor. 

i definitely RAN to her and grabbed it out of her sweet little hands. :-)

American Education Week this week...does anyone else's school make this the MOST important, MOST parent-involved week of the school year? 

we were there all morning...sawyer's taking a quick nap and then we're headed back up there this afternoon...

it's fun and cute and the kids love it...it's a little much for this mom.

{when i was walking home from the school this morning, my neighbor - that i run with EVERY morning - definitely didn't recognize me. since i had on boots...and earrings...AND since my hair wasn't in a ponytail! sad, huh?? and here i sit typing...with my earrings on the counter next to me, my hair IN a ponytail and my boots by the door :-)}
