YUM!
we had enough for lunch today, too!
after dinner we went for a walk on the beach.
ahhh...my FAVORITE!
LOVE that time of day on the beach.
it's cooler.
and the lighting is PERFECT for pictures!
it was a sweet time.
bailey "made" us ice cream with a cup and spoon she found on the ground.
sand on baby toes...
calling it a day...
once we got the kids in bed, pat and i had one of those really good but really hard talks.
about where our kids are.
the things we're seeing.
the work we have to do.
a necessary talk...we are both on the same page.
and we have a Father that will walk with us and give us the wisdom and strength and grace we need as we go.
went to bed with a slightly heavy, very thankful heart.

i love that last picture - of (almost)everyone walking back. we LOVE japanese steakhouses - they are SOOOO fun - and SO delicious!!! i'm putting that on my request list for our vacation - yum! and i know those kinds of talks - did you have to hide in the bathroom with him while all the kids fell asleep to have it? it's SO good you are on the same page. you are a team - parenting together. so hard yet so important!!! love you!
