a snack right after his afternoon nap
i find that i stay {mostly} calm until the afternoon.
and then i'm in a frantic state trying to get all the stuff done that i meant to and haven't yet.
i hate that feeling.
on top of no time to do anything...with soccer practice and baseball games and homework and dinner and playing outside!
love those sleepy little eyes...
i don't want to miss these moments.
the "ordinary" ones that happen EVERY DAY.
but are why i LOVE this "job" so very much.
rebekah and joshua had soccer and baseball pictures this past weekend.
i refused to spend $1 on them.
that's not what i want pictures of...them standing in a cafeteria smiling a fake smile.
THIS is what i want pictures of...THIS is what i'm going to want to go back and look at...
the ordinary moments of our everyday life...
i also REALLY love 21 month olds.
:-)
bailey and sawyer looking at a book together.
LOVE how his little foot is up on her leg...
sawyer left...but bailey is still reading...
and then she went to find him and it turned into a "kiss-fest"...LOTS of laughing and kisses!
i even got into it - sawyer LOVES getting a "zerbert" on his stomach!
and then, as i went to put these pics on my computer, i clicked on THIS on a friends blog...and SOBBED my eyes out! wow!!! grab a kleenex if you're going to watch it!

i love 21 month olds too!
LOVE the ordinary moments.
and i'm so glad we have these blogs to document what our days are like at this point in our lives. we will look back and be so happy that we took the time to record almost every little detail - the good, the bad, the ones we never want to forget! :)
i cried the whole way thru that video at mops! going to check out that lady's book...may be a good mother's day gift! :)
Ohhhh, precious pictures ~ and I have sobbed over that "ordinary days" video before....and um....that I have experienced in real life. Motherhood....every single strand of our being. Love you dear Courtney ~ my daughter and a most wonderful mother.
such sweet pictures. and such a good reminder to me about focusing in on those moments! and the video was SO GOOD!
beth was just telling me about this today. those ordinary moments are the best - i like them better than the "events" - it's what keeps me grounded i think. love these pictures of your ordinary day - but there's nothing ordinary about your sweet baby boy! :)
thanks for making me cry...lol (tears running down my face)
