words

we had some friends over this past saturday night for dessert.
they wanted to chat about ADOPTION!
because they are just beginning the process!!

it was SO fun!
and such a blessing to hear their story and their hearts.
they are an amazing couple.

we've known them for awhile...but they had never been to our house.
in the first few minutes, as they were looking around, they said some nice comments.
you know, "i love your home!" "i like all the pictures of the kids everywhere!"
and then the wife said something like, "i love all your signs that you make!"

and i said, "yea...i just love...."

and i paused and then finished the sentence...

"WORDS!"

she laughed.

it's true.

I LOVE WORDS.

i love the reading them.
i love writing them.
{i don't love saying them, though...i'm just not very good at communicating verbally}
they say so much.
and portray my heart and your heart and His heart.
and i just can't get enough sometimes!

i guess i have a lot of words around my house!
and i love it! :-)
