today

next week is spring break.
we are headed to a cabin in west virginia.
we are going with the goetz - we love them.
they have 6 kids (aren't they crazy?? ;-))

we each have a cabin.
there is no phone or tv or internet at the cabin.
there IS electricity and running water.
that's the only kind of "camping" i can do for a week!

we are leaving on saturday right after joshua's first baseball practice
{pat is the assistant coach!}
we come back thursday.

the weather is supposed to be cold and rainy.
i'm in denial about that right now.
hoping the forecast is wrong.
i can handle cold...and even cloudy...as long as we can be outside!

we are SO looking forward to the time away as a family.
and to the time with the family we're going with.
our kids and their kids play so well together.
and we LOVE the couple!
i think we'll have lots of fun memories!

i have SO much to organize/grocery shop for/pack.
i have made a good list.

but instead of tackling it yesterday, i cleaned all the blinds in the house {a LOT!} and changed everyone's sheets and took the kids on a super long walk/bike ride. makes perfect sense, right??

i just don't make sense sometimes.

i'm watching 2 other kids this morning and am going to attempt to take all 5 kids to walmart to get the stuff i need there for our trip in a very short amount of time before i have to get bailey to ballet. does that sound like a good idea? i know. i'm just really dumb sometimes...

i'll let you know how it turns out.
