book recommendation
i WOULD highly recommend these novels. i would NEVER have picked to read them from the storyline alone. i don't like science fiction. and i don't like killing. but the combination of the plot with the characters was so captivating. these books were entertaining and disturbing and i could NOT put them down. i had to read the first one for book club...and i was hooked! i couldn't WAIT to get in bed each night to read...and finished each one in just a few nights. i had NO idea what they were about...so it took me a good 50 pages to get into the first one {i wasn't sure i like it} but once i was into it...i couldn't stop!

lol, another person recommended them in the blogosphere and I bought the first one... then heard the second one was coming out, so I was going to wait to buy it and read it together, because they said it was killing them that they couldn't read the sequel yet.... so now there is a third? I am excited to read them.

I hope everything is going well with your adoption. That is so exciting that you are bringing home 2 children. I sometimes wish that we were adopting 2 instead of one. But I know that right now the Lord expects us to adopt one. So, maybe later...
