i think i already had my favorite 20 minutes today.
from 7:05-7:25 am.
pat leaves early early on wednesday mornings.
none of us see him.
and i get to load all 4 kids up in the car to drop rebekah off at school by 7:30 am.
makes for a crazy wednesday morning.
everyone getting dressed, fed and in the car.
for whatever reason, this morning, everyone was still sleeping at 7 am when i normally start getting sawyer dressed, doing bailey's hair, etc.
so i let them sleep.
{they eventually all got up...just made for a disjointed, multiple breakfast, bailey STILL doesn't have her hair brushed kinda morning...it was worth it!}
rebekah and i came downstairs and ate cereal together at the island in the kitchen.
just the 2 of us.
when i prayed i was able to just pray for HER and HER day.
it was the sweetest 20 minutes.
just hearing her thoughts on her day ahead and being able to listen...100%...without other's needs screaming in the background.
i've been feeling a little disconnected from her lately {there's always 1 that i'm feeling "disconnected" from...} and so this was such an answer to prayer!

Oh Courtney ~ I loved hearing the peace in your words and heart. One on one time...relaxed time, is a blessing. I'm thankful you two got that. And....I am thankful you and I get that too every now and then.

isn't that the best? one on one time...you have to take it when you get it...what a blessing! and a gift for today!
