18 months

he's 18 months old.
and oh so cute.

his stats:
height: 32 1/2" (55%)
weight: 27 lb 6 oz (70%)

rebekah at 18 months: 30 inches and 21 lb 4 oz
joshua at 18 months: 33 1/4" and 26 lb 13 oz
bailey at 18 months: 32" and 24 lb

interesting to compare them, huh??

sawyer might not have the chicken pox.
{these pictures are from today...third day of the rash}

i have been informed that at least 3 other children that are all in the same nursery room at church have some sort of skin rash. and 2 of those have been diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth disease. so...after looking that virus up online...i think it's possible that sawyer has that instead of the chicken pox.

time will tell.
i think if he has hand, foot and mouth disease, that one of my other kids will get it.

but it makes more sense why his bumps are mostly around/in his mouth and on his hands, legs and feet!

either way, it's the same thing.
you just have to let it run it's course.

back to sawyer being 18 months old:

he loves to eat
he is such a good sleeper.
sleeps from 7 am- 7 pm
naps from 12:30-4 pm
he loves any ball or car
he loves to be outside
he says very few words and the ones he does say are not very clear: "football" "truck" (or tractor - they both sound the same) "daddy" "mommy" (he doesn't say this to me...it basically means, "i want something" and he says it with this really whiny voice...not so fun to hear over and over all day long!) "balloon" "ball" "apple" (rebekah taught him that one) "set, hut!"

he can sign "please" and "all done" - that's enough for me! gets us through most frustrating moments
he loves rebekah...trusts her immensely
joshua is so kind and patient with him
bailey drives him crazy...he basically screams if she even comes near him

i love his eyes.
they say so much.
and his skin is so so soft.

he reaches for my hand and bows his little head before i put him in his crib so that i will pray for him.

i can't imagine life without him.
he is the perfect baby for our family.

That could totally explain Joshua's fever. When Owen had it at 15 months, his only spots were in his throat but he had a terribly fever. Actually his first febrile seizure. We would never have know except the doctor saw the spots.

My first thought when I originally saw the picture was hand/foot/mouth. We've been there...done that and it's terrible, especially in the mouth. But none of my kids have ever had it that bad all over their bodies. I don't remember them ever having it on their legs, so who knows. I think those two virus are related, so either way there's not much you can do. I hope today is better! Much, much better!

hand/foot/mouth would make much more sense to me...although that is the WORST case i've ever seen. my kids have only had minor cases...i hope none of the other kids come down with it!!

Needless to say, used parts will be easy on your wallet. Edward Albees Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf? debuted in 1962 to a mixture of praise and condemnation, culminating in the Pulitzer Prize committee choosing not to award a prize at all instead of giving it to this play. Part of the committee was concerned about the plays harsh language, abusive characters, and dim look at the institution of marriage. The rest of the committee wanted to honor the play for those exact same reasons and ended up resigning in protest.
