sewing with my helpers

i've been letting the kids help me lately.
they push the pedal and i guide the fabric.

this is joshua pushing the pedal. {sorry for the out of focus - it focused on bailey's beautiful hair!}

and bailey helping me.

i have to have MY foot very close to the pedal when bailey is helping.

joshua is much more controlled...

it makes the whole thing take longer.
but i want them to be a part of it.

and just since i had my camera in the basement and hardly ever do...here it is!

this is where anything goes that doesn't have a "place" upstairs.
