it seriously snowed ALL.DAY.LONG.
beautiful to watch.
but not that fun to be outside in...too cold and windy and coming down too hard.
so i spent most of the day baking {treats to give friends} and the kids helped some.
it was mostly fun {even though bailey is sticking her tongue out...she's just 4 and just Bailey}
we shoveled every 2 hours to keep up with it.
pat did the majority. but i helped when i could.
they tried to go sledding.
but it was no fun.
they were home quickly {way too quickly for me :-)}
and they were back to "helping" me cook and bake.
{used the crockpot, breadmachine and kitchenaid mixer multiple times yesterday...and every dish in the kitchen i think. it was crazy! i do like cooking...but with sawyer it's just plain hard.}
the kids never got out of their pj's. just put their snowpants on over them :-)
i did pretty good until about 5:30 pm.
then i snapped.
it was the scissors that did it.
i was trying wrap up 10 plates of cookies and put notes on them and cut the notes out with my "fun" {jaggedy-edged} scissors. i couldn't find them. they aren't supposed to use them without asking. and i snapped. it was ugly. i felt awful and couldn't recover for the rest of the night. i hate that. i wish i could say i learned something from it and it will never happen again. but i know better.

Dumb scissors!
I know...right.
happened to me today!
oh girl...any "snow day" or "rain day" when you're trapped inside does that to me!!
Also trying to cook/bake with Kallen running around. At first I love it and its relaxing, and then all of a sudden I run out of patience :)
xoxoxo!
