i showered and left to meet my sister for coffee/diet coke and to catch up!
man...if someone had been watching us they would have had quite the entertainment.
we had so much to say i think we were both talking at the same time at times.
what a blessing it is to have a sister that is my friend.
on the way home i grocery shopped by myself.
groceries for new years AND all next week.
when i got home pat helped me unload the car.
then kept the kids occupied while i put the groceries away and made some food for our party tomorrow night.
during quiet time i had some adult conversation with my husband while we were both awake and not falling asleep on the couch {like we typically are at night after the kids are in bed}.
we did some chore/project stuff together in the afternoon.
and got dinner/baths/kids in bed together.
and since we did so much together today...i think we maybe have some energy left for each other tonight!
all this help and together stuff is pretty nice.
i'm getting spoiled quickly.
i could get used to this! :-)
we are headed out of town tomorrow morning for 36 hours.
for our annual new years gathering...we're in richmond this year.
we are ALL excited to see our friends!!!

Sweet time with sisters....so love it!!!!!! Thanks girls for taking time for each other. It melts a mom's heart. :) And Courtney, together time and alone time...love them both for you (and me!)
