the best neighbors and a snowball fight.

i'm sorry to be repetitive.
but i have the BEST neighbors.
this morning, my neighbor sent her daughter over to watch my 4 kids and then drove me to her gym...got me in on her guest pass...and we did a spinning class {all the running ladies went - i don't go to that gym..mine is further away because it has a pool} together.

they knew i needed it.
and they were right.
how great are they??

then the kids spent a couple hours building a snow fort and having a snowball fight.

after some attitudes/bad choices/"i'm sorry" notes everyone is in their rooms by themselves for a little while.

we'll come back together ready for the rest of the day soon :-)

anyone else not wrapped a single gift yet?
or have to go grocery shopping with the rest of the world?

i'm so "off" this year.
and i'm not really stressing.
not like me.

we grocery shopped at my three stores this morning. but i thought of something i forgot so i have to go back tonight. i stole your idea from the post office and let my girls take bags of candy and hand them out. it was a lifesaver (no pun intended - they actually handed out hershey kisses...) it helped me keep my perspective (and MY attitude in check) and it helped give them something to do so that they didn't get the sillies and make me crazy. so thanks for another great idea. the girls LOVED handing out the candy. it was really funny to watch the other shopper's reactions. i am stressing too. still too much that i want to get done, but i need to gain perspective and some of it is NOT important and will have to be "forgotten." and i will have to be okay with that.

I have bought all my gifts, but not a single one is wrapped. And we have to go to the grocery store tonight. So not looking forward to it. (But I'm thinking maybe Corey will go!) I still haven't got my Christmas cards done, though! You're way ahead of me there!
