a walk with the little ones: a treasure

bailey missed our "special time" the last 2 days with the older 2 kids home.
one day, before she went down for her nap she said,
"but mom! we haven't done something special!"

i love that she treasures that hour...just the 3 of us...

i treasure it also.

today we went for a walk...and sawyer walked.

i forgot how S L O W walks are with toddlers :-)
they stop to inspect and collect all kinds of treasures!

the pudgy hand just kills me.

this is why i love my camera.

sawyer wouldn't walk on the path once he figured out what a fun sound the leaves made.



i think this might be what i'm thankful for tonight on our turkey:
"a walk full of treasures"
