i can't believe it's still monday...

seriously.

sorry i didn't get here sooner.

2 1/2 hours of "homestudy" meeting...
went straight into finishing homework.
making/eating dinner.
headed out the door for a nursery meeting.

now i'm home.

and beyond tired.

but...it went well.
VERY thankful.
she was delightful.
i think she thought we were delightful...
{how could you not?? the kids made sure she knew our house wasn't always this clean "especially the basement" :-)}
thanks for your prayers.

we have to have another meeting early next week.
pat and i separately.
but then she said she'd have our report written up by the end of next week.
which is great.

i'd love to have it finalized, notarized and sent in to UCSIS (with our I600) by Dec.1

i'll explain the process of that more later.

for now...bed...

{first shipments of shirts are going out tomorrow!!!}

how can it still be monday???

Hooray that the first part of home study went so well! I'm glad the kids let her know the normal state of the house so you wouldn't be pulling the wool over her eyes. ;-) You've got to love kids!

You don't know me (I came across your blog from a friend of a relative), but I've been following along with the progress of your adoption, and I really admire you for doing your part to make a difference. I saw this article today in the NY Times, and it reminded me of you, so I thought I'd pass it along in case you didn't see it: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/09/us/09adopt.html?em
