we made it!

all tasks accomplished!
physicals, bloodwork, tb tests, fingerprints, passports, ate lunch together and talked! :-), groceries bought, conferences...
{some of the stuff just got sent off...so still have to wait for it to be processed...but our part is done!}

whooo-hooo!!!
thanks for your prayers.
seriously.
it all went very smoothly and we are thankful.

{this is the "wow...we're done but want to take a nap" picture}

we got home to a picked up house.
happy kids.
and my mom brought dinner!!!
AND soccer practice was cancelled!

so...since the 2 choices at 4 pm with 4 readytogo kids were either lock them in their rooms and we take a nap OR suck it up and go outside and play...

we chose outside :-)

it was gorgeous!
it was amazing how long this circle of shapes/colors entertained them.
we made up lots of games on it!

and he just goes...

and goes...

and goes...

and GOES!!!

and this is a "before" picture...

{this is our redneck selves...}

you'll have to wait til tomorrow for the "after" - i'm too tired!

wow. big day. glad it went well. glad you got lunch together. love that pic of you two with your kids in the background.

things here are nuts. i'm spouse-less this week, seemingly endlessly. stupid flu. week 4 of flu rounds up tomorrow. my sanity rounded up yesterday. here's hoping i keep everyone fed the next two days :)

so glad it went well. what a week you've had, eh?

OHHHHH - I was secretly hoping that lunch would be more than a "grab something quick in the car and keep going" - I'm glad it was a sort of date! :) Thankful for your mom to take care of the kids (and the house!) while you were gone too - hooray! :) And I can't believe you cut all Joshua's hair again...just when you were making me get my nerve up to let Jacob grow his out!!!! (it makes haircuts so much easier and cheaper if you just keep it short though...that's what's holding me back!)

Yea! Aren't you glad it's over? I really think that stuff is the most time-consuming. The dossier takes time too, but for some reason all of the blood, tb tests, physicals, fingerprinting seemed worse. Anyway, isn't progress nice!

Yay, good for you! That's a lot for one day. Sooooo jealous of your weather. We're stuck inside for our second snow day-all schools cancelled, etc. It's going to be a long winter....
