do you burn an hour wringing out wet towels?
hopefully a lot.
we woke up to pouring rain this morning.
so i chose (so wisely...right?...seeing as how i feel like someone is standing on my chest with all the congestion...) to stay in and not run.
{some of you now how hard that decision is for me. to some it will seem ridiculous. but it's big.}
a few minutes later...i'm having such a nice time reading in the silent, dark, peaceful house.
and pat comes flying up {he just went down to lift weights} and tells me the basement is flooded.
the hot water heater is leaking all over.
so...until the guy comes at 1 pm i am wringing out towels.
pat worked on it from 7:30-9:30.
then went to work.
i have taken over.
we think we've dumped 25 or so gallons down the toilet.
pat says the water heater is 75 gallons...

Oh, yuck!! Not good. That's a big hot h20 heater you have! We switched to tankless last year, maybe you will too after this? ;-)

are you KIDDING me? That's awful! I'm glad Pat went down and discovered it first thing this morning though...can you imagine if it SAT like that for very long? Hoping it was a quick and inexpensive fix! :)
