once we knew sawyer was ok, we ventured out of our neighborhood to a "new" playground that i had run past a couple weekends ago!
{and i secretly knew it was PERFECT for some great pictures!}
this kid just propels himself down slides...whether anyone is there to catch him or not!
{i was, though!}
"whee!!!"
across the street from the playground was this...
isn't it gorgeous?
it's surrounded by houses...except on that backside where if you get the angle right it looks like you're out in the middle of nowhere at a beautiful lake! :-)
doesn't look too bad, does he?
everyone enjoyed being OUTSIDE!
we'd been cooped up for days!
{but, keepin' it real, rebekah and joshua argued the whole time "you're following me!" "don't look at that leaf!" "you're breathing too loud!" it was ridiculous! so they spent the rest of their evening on their beds til dinner was ready.}
i haven't gotten the "perfect" fall picture of the 4 of them, yet...still trying...

Gorgeous pics! I can't believe how big Sawyer looks now that he's walking!
You have so many beautiful and great places to play and hang out near your house....so fun! And thanks for "keeping it real"...nice to know that your kids are "normal" behind all those terrific pictures. ;)
court - your pictures are so good! i love the one of the four of them at the lake with their backs to the camera.
great new discovery - i noticed they were all in matching colors...wondered if you were working on a group picture! :)
those are fun pictures though! I am with you, waiting for the leaves to change... waiting for it to warm up again a bit and have FALL... we are missing it!
I think a quote like "You're breathing too loud!" is one that every parent with more than one child has to hear at some point in parenthood. I'm sure it will come up again when they are in their teens ;-)
