amazing

{sorry for all the posts...i'm on a roll..}

the people i was with this past week are amazing.

they did things like let my daughter paint their nails.
and spend a long time filling up LOTS of water balloons that my kids threw in a matter of minutes.
and helped celebrate BOTH girls' birthdays.
and made my kids lunch.
and ran with me.
and were kind and patient with my loud and busy kids.
and listened to me talk about things they probably don't care about. and even acted interested.
they thought of others before themselves over and over and over.
and i am so blessed.
and thankful.

and then there was a contest for who could pick up the most broken balloon pieces :-)

the young's...they are about to welcome a baby boy in a few weeks!

the dads and kids in the hot tub.
the dads had this whole system of how long the kids could stay in. then they threw them in the pool for a set time...then back in the hot tub. desperate measures, people. we were SO desperate!

there was another house of friends about a mile away.
all the girls from our house and their house went out to dinner on thursday night.
