started out the day with some exercise { :-) }
my dad and i ran together.
pat took ALL 6 kids on a bike ride.
everyone else went on a walk.
spent a few minutes in the pool...
then we got our toes in the sand!!! finally!!!

kind of a weird weather day...cloudy...but hot and humid.
kind of nice to be on the beach.
rebekah's smile in this picture could not be any more genuine!
{and joshua wants to be out there so badly...}
so papa {and later daddy} were very sweet to work with him!
we are enjoying all just being together!
my whole family is in 1 house.
and the "richmond crew" {2 of my mom's sister's and their families} arrive today!
we are having a LUAU at our house tonight for both houses...
{there's a thunderstorm right now...so we're figuring out how this is going to play out...but no matter what it will be fun!}

What I wouldn't give to be at the beach! I need to get away! Have a great time!
it is going to be such fun for you guys this week!! can't wait to see it through your blog!!! (and how fun is that for you and your dad to run together - that's awesome!!!) Oh, and one more ps. I still can't get used to seeing joshua with his "long" hair!!!
