then we headed back to our house for the party.
this gift was a HIT!
pat's parents gave sawyer this little pool with all different kinds of balls in it!
it was SO fun!

{sawyer and joshua were born at opposite ends of the calendar...so he had no clothes for the fall! and he's young enough to not know that most of his gifts were clothes :-)}

what FUN! I love the first birthday parties - because there's no pressure! you can just relax and enjoy each other - and the babies are too young to know any different! What FUN - glad he liked his cake so much! I'm impressed he stopped when he was done - I'm still working on that one! :)
