we checked another thing off our list!
we made it to the fractured prune
{there was a sign there that explained where it got it's name...from some old lady named Prunella...long story...}
sawyer had his 1 year well-check right when he should be taking a nap this morning and we needed a diversion...so we headed to find the fractured prune!
BUT...it was YUMMY!
it's basically like Coldstone or Maggie Moo's...but for donuts.
they make them to order...whatever flavor glaze or topping you want...orange...chocolate...sugar...blueberry...oreo crumbs...chocolate chips...sprinkles...
they were finger-lickin good!
when you order they grab a plate and write what you want on the plate.

they were HOT!
they tasted like funnel cake to me.
YUM!
it's a good thing it was a little hike to get there and not super cheap.
i think it will be a once a summer thing.
but it was fun!

Courtney, You find the coolest places to go. I want to live with you so that I can share. They looked delicious - the kids and the donuts!!

I haven't been to a Fractured Prune in years. There used to be one in Ocean City, MD. I have no idea if it's still there, but I can still (a decade later) remember how their donuts taste. Yummo!
I still have not made it there.
Trying not to be jealous...
I've seen this place advertised for like the last year, but I kept avoiding it. Didn't want to risk starting a big addiction....it looks super YUMMY!
