and it was a fun surprise to have the first round of blackberries ready to be picked!
i think it's cool how a few at a time are ripe.
next week, those red ones will be ready...
and the week after that, the white ones will be ready!
it's nice that it's right at their height.
i enjoy it too - no bending over to pick strawberries with a 20 pound baby on my back.
and no lifting the kids over and over to pick peaches out of trees.

hope you're hanging in there. loved your part 4-- well, reading it. not thinking about what it was like to endure it. didn't like that part.
and nice front yard water party. love it. we're going to have to do that soon. i should plan it in august.
(wouldn't it be fun to organize one all on the same saturday through moms in the blogosphere and see who ends up on their curb that day? that could be pretty fun...hmmmm....maybe it would be a raise money-raise awareness dilly-o....thinking...)
