i looked over this morning to this scene...
the noise that went along with it was comical...yet didn't even phase me...but the scene...i almost burst out laughing.
instead, i grabbed my camera! {surprise, surprise!}
our house is chaos a lot of the time.
but organized chaos.
it's manageable and fine...til it reaches a certain point and then we have to "bring it back down."
i feel like this inside these days...chaos...but manageable...til that "one thing" happens and i snap...then i am "so stressed" and "can't take it" and i start making mistakes...being impatient with my family, forgetting important things {friends' birthdays!!!}, not looking those i love in the eyes...and i have to "bring it back down."
this week is CRAZY.
crazier than most.
and i feel just as CRAZY in my heart...lots i'm thinking about.
i need time to "bring it down"...but it's just not there.
{just FYI...Rebekah is dancing to a CD from VBS, Joshua is also doing the motions...but from a laying down position ?, Bailey is having a tea party with herself, and Sawyer is just crawling around trying to find something to throw}
i thrive on chaos.
i do.
but i need moments of quiet in between...

wishing you quiet so you can detox & process... summers are so fun, and so hard, huh?
some days i feel like i am barely hanging on, and i only have 2 kids. and yet i just accepted a writing job. surely i have lost my mind.
thinking of you-
joshua's a smart one - still participating in the fun with the motions and all, but not getting too crazy and exerting his energy! :) hoping you're able to have some quiet this afternoon during naptime to "bring it down"! :)
looks so much like my day - the dancing to VBS music, the lone tea party, the 'something to throw' (sophie) - the chaos, all of it.
let's go have coffee not talk to each other, just sit in silence ;-)
sounds great, holly! :-)
I love seeing into your house....the every day play. The love. The craziness. You do such a GREAT job Courtney!
I love seeing your new furniture and decorations....you've done a great job! Where is your coffee table from? I like the dark color and that it has some drawers.
