this seems all "hard-core" and all when you are DOING a triathlon. but the next day...when you are at the grocery store with 3 little kids...you just feel kinda silly... {at least it's a LITTLE less pronounced...i scrubbed and scrubbed!!!}
I agree with Holly and... it's like a badge of honor which you've earned. Like being able to put your 13.1 sticker on the back of your van.
It's cool for those people who know what it is.
I know you've inspired me a little too! Don't think I'll be doing any tri-athalons but maybe a half, though I can barely do a 5K now. Maybe for my 45th bday (4 1/2 yrs to train for it is about my speed. LOL
