what happened??

nothing has changed.
but i am totally overwhelmed with my life lately.
feeling like i'm failing everyone at every turn.
not sure if it's a "quick" thing...and i'll be back to normal in, say, 2 hours...
or if this is going to take a bit more work (analyzing priorities, making decisions, etc.)

i'll be back...sometime...

Ahhhhh, the life of a mom....and a woman. A time to ponder, to consider,to dream for our kids, to see reality of daily life, to readjust, to watch instead of do, to listen to God, to cry or just be heavy hearted, to wonder, be confused, a time for laughter to be hard to find, to not have answers, to be overwhelmed and let God care for us and talk to us, to tend to our heart's cry....even though we don't get how we got here. I understand. I love you dear daughter. I appreciate where you are. Amazing grace how sweet the sound.....in the midst.

i know.
she's the best.
and, just for the record,
"amazing grace" is my "go-to song" - i had to go to a meeting last night. i was ALL in a tizzy heading out the door. ready to cry/scream/all of the above. i BLASTED amazing grace on repeat the whole way and felt so much better by the time i got to the meeting. His grace does that. (it also makes me drive too fast...but we won't talk about that.)

it's probably all the sweeping that you're doing these days!! My guess? it's a busy season. Nearing the end of school, with extra projects, meetings, and programs...it's been rainy, which means you've probably been cooped up instead of being outside more like everyone wants, etc...baby who has been fussier than normal after being sick...and just plain being mom to 4 kids under 7!! HELLO! Enjoy some R&R on the couch tonight - with ice cream!! So i love you my friend!

Wherever you've gone... I'm pretty sure I'm heading there with you. I keep thinking... 12 more days. If I can just make it 12 more days, then everything will be better. Hoping I'm right.

Thinking of you. :)

I love you. And I had one of those days too, with only 1 child. Does this mean I should not have any more?

Hang in there, he has your heart in his hands and knows your every thought, and by his grace he will give you the peace and calmness you need.
