i assume most of you get mail. and i'm talking snail mail.
and most of you will be going to the grocery store in the next couple of days.
pick up a few extra groceries and leave them by your mailbox on Saturday morning.
it's "Stamp Out Hunger" day!
your mailman will pick up the groceries...it's part of the nation's largest single-day food drive!
doesn't get more "convenient" than that, huh?

I'm so excited! This one drive feeds people for MONTHS, and our last food sort got cancelled because the food banks are EMPTY- no food to sort! So, I'm stoked! Let's do it up, people.
My house church is meeting at a post office and loading the hunger task force vans from 12-4 on Saturday. I'm pretty giddy about it- can't imagine a better portion of mother's day (my mother's day is saturday since jim works sundays)!
we got our little reminder card in our mailbox this week about it. it's perfect timing, because i've got a pantry to unload in the next 2 weeks!!

Oh Geez... I'm the person who just deleted their comment. I was signed into my sister's account and forgot and left a message posting as her.
Sooo.... What I was going to say was thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten. I'm going to go put stuff in my mailbox right now before I forget!
