the "kickoff" was this morning - parade and banners with a fire truck leading the way.

i seriously almost teared up. what is that about? he's just holding a banner and walking down the street. it's just nice to have something to focus on him about.
we're home so that sawyer can take a little nap.
then we're headed back to the festivities {with pat - whew!}...moon bounces, rock climbing walls, fun music!

he'll have his first game this week {if it doesn't rain...}

Your mom's heart BURST with pride and the fact that he is growing up....thus the tears. I remember...and it is why I choked up seeing this picture as a grandma. Precious stages...precious kids.

Dude - about the tearing up. I tear up every time we pass the little leaguers at the fields near our house...and NONE of them are my kids! I can only imagine what it will be like when Jackson is on the field! :)

Love that there was a parade. I mean, they dont even have a parade for the Yankees unless they win the world series, so....you guys are serious stuff. And i LOVE how his hat sits on his ears. LOVE it. and the pic of Sawyer & Bailey. so cute.
