nothing like a game of freeze tag

sawyer finally seems back to his normal self.
thank YOU!
whew...that was a long couple weeks.

but he still had a complete meltdown after 2 1/2 hours of grocery shopping that ended an hour past his dinnertime.
it was a rough evening.
and i was glad to put him in his bed...

he immediately curls up in this ball.
on TOP of his blanket...always.
even if i put his blanket on top of him, he ends up on top of it. i don't even bother anymore.
and puts his hand in his hair.
ok.
he's forgiven for all that screaming.
right then and there :-)

for our "candle" tonight we played freeze tag outside.
it's a beautiful night.
and they asked.
and we said "yes" for once.

i could hardly catch rebekah...she's so fast.
bailey was in her footie pjs...with tennis shoes over them.
pat was the "rotten egg" because he was last in the house.
it was fun.
and burned off some frustration...

off to spend some time with my favorite man {and a bowl of ice cream!}

favorite man & a bowl of ice cream - sounds like a PERFECT combination! I can't fault Sawyer from melting down last night -sometimes after 2 1/2 hours of grocery shopping with my kids, I'm about ready to melt down too!! And by the way, Callie sleeps ON her blankets too - or over her head or something. Such sweet babies.
