brutally honest
if i was going to be brutally honest, i would say the last couple days with pat home from work are more like a gift for HIM than for me. because he's been off of work, but my throat hurts so bad that i can hardly talk. so he gets to just get stuff done around here (mulching, washing his car...) without me talking his ear off...hhmm...if i didn't feel so awful i'd be a bit bitter...but i don't have the energy for that.

We've been out of town for the last few days (in Williamsburg), and I just popped in to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! However, I wasn't expecting to see the word FEVER in your posts for the last few days. UGH! I really hope you start feeling better :(...It sounds like you are getting hit pretty badly. Please try and let yourself RELAX and get better...don't fight that part...You need to rest. We will be praying for you!
My birthday was a few weeks ago when I had my "throat feels like it's been cut open with razors" kind-of virus! I feel your pain! So Happy Birthday anyway! I'm sure your kids will make it special for you despite how you feel!
Happy Birthday to one of my favorite "bloggy friends!" I'm so sorry you're sick on your birthday. I think this calls for a "do over." Tell Pat that you want to celebrate your birthday next week, instead. :)
