jim and i were just talking- he is preaching Amos tonight. i mentioned the quote from wilberforce that you posted semi-recently (thank you, search engine for pulling it up for me). what's the reference/ book? or if its online, can i pull up context? jim wants to use it tonight with Amos. pretty insane that someone so long ago at such an early point in our country warned us of such a thing- what with considering how much more we have now- even in "financial crisis"-where so many are suffering with little to nothing while most people just have less than they did this time last year. hm. thinking of how much people "had" when wilberforce first stated that. kind of makes me think we might have no idea what we have and what its value might be (not be). that wilberforce kid was keen :)
