sawyer's crawling

you set him in a sitting position.
he immediately gets into crawling position.
that leg doesn't get "stuck" anymore.

he does the "push up" for a second before he gets into all 4's, but he hardly does it anymore.
i miss the push up.

once he gets semi-close to where he's trying to go, he flings his arms forward to try to reach it.
no need to go the extra mile ;-)

and the kid can turn!
360 degrees, around and around.

"are you proud of me, mom?"

he's on the edge of getting into the kids stuff.
they are patient with him so far.
because it's new.
and fun that he can crawl.
but i'm trying to warn them...you're going to have to play games on the table...your lego's need to be in your room if you don't want them messed up...it's been awhile (for us) since we've had a crawling baby!
it's fun.
but a new stage that will bring new frustrations.
he hasn't discovered the stairs...yet.

Sounds much like what is going on at our house.
But that push up thing is one of a kind. I love it! I hope you have lots of pictures and videos of it.

So cute. He really took off since yesterday even! You know I think Joshua is starting to understand your warnings. I was helping him fix his race track yesterday, and suddenly he said, "I don't want Sawyer to start messing up my race track and taking it apart." LOL! Poor guy! Sawyer is going to slide from favorite to least favorite among the siblings so fast...

Wow! That didn't take long. My three year old is having a hard time with his train stuff. He loves to build train tracks all over the floor and McKenna LOVES to mess them up. He thought it was fun at first, but he's over it now!
