"Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain."
Psalm 119:36
"I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise."
Psalm 119:58
my heart is seeking Him.
yearning after what He wants.
and, a good reminder to myself for later...
this morning i CHOSE to sit and play with bailey and line cars up and do an ENTIRE puzzle with joshua and get the shaving cream out for "school".
instead of doing the chores i want to do.
or looking at your sweet blogs.
or reorganizing my pantry (that desperately needs it.) and i don't regret one minute.
(i still did run the dishwasher and put a load of laundry in and start dinner in the crockpot and clean the fishtank for that stupid fish that won't die. i mean, things still have to be tended to around here.)
i just want to remember that i NEVER regret making those choices.
but i often regret "losing" 30 minutes sitting at the computer...

Ditto, ditto, ditto!
I'm going to play with my kids now....thanks!
LOL about that strong-will-to-live fish! haha! Enjoy your day- every moment and the way you choose to spend it!
Wait, where is the fish that wont die?
Ha! We had fish once and all it took was entrusting a neighbor to come feed it while we were on vacation and it was a gonner!! She over feed it! I would be more than willing to help. Are you going on vacation anytime soon? lol!
The fish. You crack me up :)
I had no idea you guys had a fish. Must have missed the post about him. And I secretly love that you secretly wish he would kick the bucket.
That is EXACTLY why I'm scared to start a blog for myself. I am actually hoping that having to post about what I've done (or not done) with my day will serve as in house accountability.
Again, still praying for more self-control!
