those of you with feet of snow are going to hate us.
but my kids were beyond excited to wake up to the sight of "snow" this morning.
it's the first of the season for us.
the schools had a 1 hour delay - one of the ladies i was running with got the call on her cell phone while we were running. that was fun :-) thought of you, robyn. it's one of my favorite, favorite things to run with some snow on the ground.
i know, a delay for this?
this is them making a "mountain".
joshua is saying, "mom. can we eat the snow?"
sure bud. go for it.
big smiles.
it doesn't take much :-)
and now bailey and i are back inside getting warm.
it's going to be hard to get rebekah up to the school...

it's always magical to see kids' reaction to snow!
Too cute! I just had to go outside to see them this morning. Bailey was very excited about "eating ice" and Rebekah informed me that they were responsible for the snow because they flushed ice cream down the toilet?! LOL! I hadn't heard that one before. Your kids are a riot! Enjoy your trip!!!
yea. rebekah comes home with a new "trick" every day. they've been flushing ice cubes down the toilet, putting spoons under their pillows, and, of course, their pj's on backwards. (i had to have them put their pj's on the RIGHT way to take those pictures the other day!)
i want some snow...just a little! :)
Just think Courtney...tomorrow you'll be able to go on your run in 60+ degree temps in TX!
so fun!
court- what is this ice cube stuff? i saw someone on the news who planned that for the day? don't understand...
okay, so run town lake for me, will ya? and when you cross the bridge, take it in for me, please. love that city...

It was quite a surprise this morning. I was surprised that the schools call these days. What happened to waking up and running downstairs to watch the news. Ahh, the good old days. :)
i LOVE his snow mountain! We had our first snow day on Tuesday...except the snow never came! Stephanie and I met that morning at the Y to run, because it was supposed to be a snowy, sleety, subzero mess. As we were on the treadmills, the school announcements came in - we were so excited...but the depression came later when the snow never came!!!
