I feel like I'm reliving the past!!! Our second child, Craig, when he was 4 swallowed a quarter! He was in Sunday School and Don gave him a quarter and he put it in his mouth and down it went. We too had him x-rayed just to make sure there was no obstruction and then waited!!!!! :-) It took 2 weeks to travel through his system. So, I know what is in store for you. We used a potty chair so it would be easy to spot and a popsicle stick!!! When it came through I used a plastic glove to remove it and cleaned it off then disinfected it and still have it to this day. It will more than likely be black. Exciting. They told us lots of fiber to help it go through. We were at a family wedding a few weeks later and my Dad who was quite a jokester, was going around to family & friends holding out his hand which had two dimes and a nickle in it telling people Craig gave us change!!!!! I'll be praying for Bailey and you. Good story for later on in life!!!!
