revolving door

pat walked in the door after sitting in traffic for an hour and a half...and right back out to take bailey to the emergency room.
she swallowed a penny.
she choked. but then swallowed it.
i called the doctor to make sure we shouldn't do anything else.
they need to take an xray to make sure it's below her diaphragm or else she could choke in the night.
she's most likely fine and it will just come out her other end.
but we have to make sure.

i miss my husband.
he worked late last night.
and i was gone the previous 5 days.
i have a list a mile long to "discuss" with him...sorry if you're waiting on answers from me about anything...it'll be a couple more days at least :-)

maybe the emergency room won't be crowded...

oh my. caroline swallowed a button the other day and it never occured to me to have an x ray done, I am glad she didn't choke in the night! (it was a random button on a dressing room floor, which is neither here nor there but gross and I thought I would mention it) I hope everything is ok! I never even see poor brian during the week anymore, so I sympathize with you on the work thing...

I'm so glad Bailey seems to be okay, I'm sure that was a bit scary! It's almost the weekend and I hope you find some good time with Pat then!

My bro was about three when he swallowed a quarter after my dad took him to Sunday school. They took him to the docs and they basically told them they would have to wait it out. My grandfather then joked...I wondering if it will come out as two dimes and a nickle! Classic!
