i don't know them.
a friend of mine does.
they took their sweet little girl to the doctor last week - because her ear infections didn't seem to be getting better.
24 hours later (and lots of tests, etc), she was diagnosed with cancer in her kidney and liver.
she's had multiple surgeries since then.
and started chemo last night.
i can't stop thinking about them.
and hugging my own kids a little tighter.
just pray.

Geez. How terribly sad!! Will pray for them. The list of heartbreaking situations to lift in prayer seems much too long these days....
this is the THIRD baby I have read about online with kidney cancer and starting chemo this month. Once is a friend from college...her sweet little girl after so many miscarriages...finally little sweet Reese and now she is in chemo...and another blogger and your friend. Wow. It is so hard to read about.

I can't even imagine what this sweet family must be going through. To go in for something as "normal" as ear infections, and come out hearing a life changing diagnosis like that. We will pray - not only for healing, but for complete peace and strength during this process.
