we had such a fun afternoon/evening/night last night.
3 couples that we know from college came over.
and the kids.
we hung out, ate, talked for awhile.
i loved how loud and fun and full my house felt.

cary and leah ayers (due with baby #1 in 6 weeks!!!), brian and peyton young, us and ej and ali fogarty.
then pat's parents came and watched ALL the kids and put ours to bed while we went out to dinner!
some nice adult conversation and laughter was fun.
then we came back to our house for some games, champagne/sparkling cider, dessert and ringing in the new year together.
such special friends. a history with each of them that makes our time together so rich.
so many special memories with them.
and we added another to our "list" - happy new year 2009!

SO fun to see everyone and the wives I haven't met! Of course, do you also have a shot of all the kids? that would be super fun! Please tell Cary congrats on baby #1! Fun, fun!
