fancy nancy

i got to spend the day with fancy nancy today.
no, this isn't some clever nickname that i came up with (like some of you bloggers out there.)
she's a real "character" and bailey loves her.
especially her books.
she got this dress from her cousins the other night.

and fancy nancy went to the gym.
(oh, yes! i went to the gym for the first time since sawyer was born.
i SWAM.
when i jumped in and put my head under the water i think i literally sighed with relief.
i LOVE swimming.
maybe more than running.
maybe.
oh, it felt good.
but my arms were so dead afterwards, that when i got in the shower and attempted to pull the top part of my suit over my head i almost didn't think i was going be able to.
i was thinking, "can i just put my clothes over this wet suit?" YIKES!
i eventually got it off.)

and fancy nancy went to the watch repair shop.

and to walmart and sam's.
she really didn't get that many comments.
not sure why.
i sure think she was about the cutest thing ever.
and now she's headed to bed...

and my body is DONE.
i'm headed to the couch to talk and pray with pat.
and then i'm DONE.
(oh, and today i have had NOT ONE bit of sugar {candy, cookie, etc} up to this minute. it has taken a ridiculous amount of self-control. i'm not eliminating it altogether. because i know i can't do that. i'll end up going the other extreme at some point. i think i'm just going to make it to dinner and then IF i can do that, have a little dessert. i can live with that. i can't live with NO fun, come on people! but i was pretty out of control. ok, enough about that. but it's probably contributing to the way i feel right now.)
nothing more intentional able to come from this brain or body today.
