it's $10 Friday!
i know, i know.
you have a lot on your list...
*christmas shopping
*christmas cards
*cleaning
*laundry
but...was going to collect dirty water and bringing it home to your family on your list this morning? and then having to worry that it might give your children a disease that they might die from? (did you know bad water kills more children than war?)
so...go here and give (at least) $10.
go look in your couches, or your "junk" drawers.
don't go out to lunch (if you were going to).
we are on our third well.
i think we could finish our fourth by the end of the day if we all are in this.
and if you truly can't give $10.
then pray. because that's just as important.
yes, we're giving water (which equals LIFE) to people through this.
but the even greater goal is that those (those that are giving, those that are being given "clean" water, those that are being effected in ANY way by this) would know the TRUE living water.
"but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:14

so i keep forgetting to order shirts by thursday, and jim and i were just talking about this in the car ride home from the gym. we're sacrificing family gifts for water money this christmas, and excited about it. but i'm thinking a water shirt for belle's dec 18th bday. possible?
and from what i understand, unclean water kills more people than any other cause. how worthy is this? You read chapter one of The Revolution? Tear-a-mother's-heart-out. I thought you might have:)much love- hope you bring in some cash today. water is life.
