as nice as it is to be fall, and cozy, and eating pumpkin muffins...
i DON'T enjoy bundling everyone up.
and they MISS being outside.
so we tried it this morning.
it lasted about as long as it took to get bundled up to be out there.
but that was ok with all of us.
we just needed to be in the fresh (windy) air for a bit!
then we came in and made the first of MANY forts to come this fall...
and messes in my house that don't happen when it's summer because they are outside.
oh well, we'll all get used to it soon, i know.
but i miss summer.

I'm with you. I absolutely love love love Fall and I even enjoy some of Winter. But I hat the big coats, all the hats, gloves, boots and the toys EVERYWHERE in my house.
Its much better to play outdoors!

yes! we're right there with you. luke still insists on playing outside in the mornings. so i bundle him up, he rides his bike for about 5 minutes and then comes in with red cold cheeks. the fun part is then snuggling under a blanket to read books and get warm. :)
