on a little 3 year old today.
i'm going to need some diet coke to get through this one.
we are RE-reminding her what obedience is.
in our house, obedience is:
*doing it gladly
*doing it RIGHT NOW
*and doing it all the way
she has gotten out of control.
(by the way, 3 year olds are WAY harder than 2 year olds, just for the record.)
it's fine. it'll just take a good day of COMPLETE consistency on my part.
we're not going anywhere. i might not even take a shower.
i'm just focusing on HER!
(lucky Bailey, huh?)
but with all the heavy prayers on my heart for other people that i love - i'll take buckling down on a 3 year old without complaining.
this is my job.
and i will do it gladly :-)

That's a great explanation of obedience I think....I'll need to remember that in a few years!
We are going through this with Eli right now. Kinda odd, but I think his schooling is making him more opinionated and snappy at me.
We also have a rule:
Do it
quickly
cheerfully
completely
I ask him evertime he starts complaining... to tell me the rule, but right now he keeps complaining...that is why we are going through this again!
Hugs to you
Can I please send my 2.5 year old to you for some buckling down?
My girls never had terrible twos...he's got 'em in full force.
Good luck!
I love that, Cheerfully, Quickly, Completely. Perfect.
it's only going to take one day for you??? We've been working on this all week over here...and i'm sure it won't be the last week like that either!
